About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buses and other vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Assist with mobile emergency servicesRequirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL
  • Mechnic's tool set
  • ASE testing and certificationWhat We Offer:
    • $29-$35 per hour, per Union contract
    • $3,000 sign-on bonus
    • ASE incentive of $.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
    • Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5 pm full-time shift
