About the Job
The Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships at MedAdvisor Solutions
will lead the development and execution of the company's
partnership strategy, aligning key initiatives with long-term
business objectives. This role is responsible for identifying and
nurturing high-value relationships with external partners, driving
collaboration across departments, and contributing strategic
insights that shape corporate direction. The ideal candidate will
have over 10 years of experience in partnership development or
business strategy, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceutical
industries, and a strong background in product leadership. They
will demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends, data
analysis, and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence to
drive innovation and optimize partnership outcomes. Leadership
skills, executive communication, and the ability to influence
cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
This role sits within MedAdvisor Solution's Global Product and
Strategy organization. The Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships
will lead the Partnerships function at the organization and
collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the globe.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's
overall partnerships and corporate strategy.
- Align partnership initiatives with the company's short-term and
long-term growth objectives in collaboration with executive
leadership.
- Provide strategic market insights and partnership opportunities
to guide senior leadership's/executive decision-making.
- Shape corporate strategy and product roadmaps through
partnership-driven insights.
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential
partners that align with business goals and product plans.
- Build, nurture, and manage relationships with key external
partners for mutual success.
- Establish and implement an agile process for evaluating
partnerships based on relevant business criteria.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends,
emerging opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations from market
analysis to support key business decisions.
- Respond to competitive intelligence requests with timely,
data-driven responses.
- Collaborate with portfolio strategy, management, and finance
teams to track and report on partnership performance, with a focus
on financial optimization.
- Create and present strategic reports and recommendations to
executive stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with teams across sales,
marketing, product development, legal, and compliance.
- Engage directly and lead conversations with executive
leadership on partnership and corporate strategy related topics and
initiatives.
- Ensure the seamless execution of partnership initiatives
through effective cross-department alignment.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and partnership
excellence across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business
development, or a related field, with a proven track record in
leadership roles.
- Experience in product leadership, or commercial experience
within product-driven organizations, with a strong foundation in
Agile methodologies.
- Deep industry expertise, particularly in the pharmacy,
healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven experience in establishing and championing best
practices for partnerships, including scaling operations and
optimizing processes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and mentoring
cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving
excellence in partnership execution.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to leverage data,
market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to
identify opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including
experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing
stakeholders at the executive level.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with key external
partners while driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, including Artificial
Intelligence, and the ability to integrate these into partnership
strategies.
- Proven ability to operate at an executive level, with strong
strategic thinking, decision-making, and influencing
capabilities.
